Meet the Staff

Amie Mischler, Executive Director

Amie MAmie, who joined the team in June, 2016, oversees the daily operations including meals, services, and cares. Her focus is to foster an environment in which employees can learn and grow and in which residents feel safe, comfortable and at home. As is true of each team member, Amie strives to fulfill our community mission — “Passionately Enriching the Lives of Seniors.”

 

 

 

 

 

 


Amber Nett, Administrative Assistant

Amber NettAmber, who joined the team in 2011, provides resident, marketing and staff support. If you have a question, she usually knows how to help you find the answer. Amber distributes invoices and collects monthly rent payments. Should she be unavailable, rent payments can be placed in the “OFFICE” mailbox to the right of the “OUTGOING MAIL” box in the main lobby.

Amber also enjoys getting to know new residents and their families and helping them make a smooth transition to ARC by providing a new resident orientation

 

 


Sara Fawcett, Community Relations Director

Sara, who joined the team in 2001, works with prospective residents and their families. She coordinates the move in process. In addition to handling all marketing, Sara also educates the community on what Appleton Retirement Community offers seniors.

 

 

 


Trinity Wadel RN, Wellness Director

Trinity joined the team in 2014.  The Wellness nurse,  oversees the caregiving team and the care of the assisted living residents. She assesses new residents prior to admission and coordinates a plan of care for each resident.  Trinity directs the overall wellness program for residents with the goal of providing a safe and healthy environment for all while providing for personal resident needs.

 

 

 

 


Sheila Danitz, Wellness Assistant

Sheila, who joined the team in 2000, provides support to the Wellness Director and the caregiving team.  She works closely with the Wellness Director in coordinating care and services for our residents.  Sheila assists residents in coordinating their medical appointments as well as transportation to those appointments.


Desiree Lindhom, LPN,   PM Nursee

Desiree, who joined the team in 2015 ,  provides nursing oversight in the afternoon and evening.   Desiree works closely with the Wellness Director and assists with resident reassessments, monthly vitals, communications with physicians, etc.  As a First Aid instructor, Desiree also keeps all staff current on their First Aid training.


Ann Turner, Lead Resident Assistant

Ann, who joined the team in 2006, provides overnight support to the Wellness Director and leadership the caregiving team.


Elizabeth Tidd, Lead Resident Assistant

Elizabeth who joined the team in 2015 and rejoined in 2017, provides daytime support to the Wellness Director and leadership to the caregiving team.  She assists daytime staff in maintaining a high standard of service while ensuring personalized resident care for all our assisted living residents.


Mackenzie Popp, LPN, Lead Resident Assistant

Mackenzie, who joined the team in 2017, provides daytime support to the Wellness Director and leadership to the caregiving team.  She assists daytime staff in maintaining a high standard of service while ensuring personalized resident care for all our assisted living residents.


Kayla Parker, LPN, Lead Resident Assistant

Kayla, who joined the team in 2017, provides daytime support to the Wellness Director and leadership to the caregiving team.  She assists daytime staff in maintaining a high standard of service while ensuring personalized resident care for all our assisted living residents.


Nathan Wind, LPN, Lead Resident Assistant

Nathan, who joined the team in 2017, provides evening support to the Wellness Director and leadership to the caregiving team.  He assists evening staff in maintaining a high standard of service while ensuring personalized resident care for all our assisted living residents.


Colleen Brickner, Life Enrichment Coordinator

Colleen, who joined the team in 2001, leads the Life Enrichment Department in planning and executing activities, events and trips for the residents.  Her goal is to organize stimulating and interesting activities to enrich the lives of our residents.


Jodi Spence, Dining Services Manager

Jodi, who joined the team in 2016, oversees the dining services department. She prepares menus and oversees meal preparation. Jodi appreciates resident feedback at monthly resident council meetings.  Jodi encourages residents to submit their favorite recipes for consideration as menu items.


Steve Dewey, Maintenance Service Manager

Steve, who joined the team in 2008, oversees maintenance of the entire community including resident apartments. Steve coordinates fire safety and the evacuation plans.


Valerie Barton, Environmental Services Associate

Valerie oversees the housekeeping department. She coordinates the resident apartment cleaning schedule as well as the cleaning of the rest of the building.
